live switching [Music] everybody and uh welcome to another thursday live uh with managed by stats my name is curtis johnson i'm the president managed by stats and i'm joined by none other than hey chief operations officer managed by stats um we're gonna cover something kind of cool today we're uh we had a last minute change like i don't know maybe some of you noticed we're like a minute late um it was perfect it was perfectly on time okay we actually started right at two o'clock which is impressive because um unfortunately the person we were gonna have come in here and um train on micro influencers um had a family emergency and he literally got us the video he recorded instead of him being on our show today just in time for for us to pull this off so yeah because it's the the content here is um i think vital and we wanted to make sure that you guys actually got it um so we asked him hey record it and give it to us so we can still uh give this to you guys and uh go from there yeah exactly so um we were going to have the founder of hubble who um they work with micro influencers as you can imagine joe ochoa he was going to be on and he was going to kind of dive into some of this stuff live with us so instead he put together a little video on that but i think we have a couple things that we're going to cover on the subject matter before we get to that because i'm sure some of you guys know micro influencers is definitely a buzz word right now yeah absolutely i mean there's there's um there's a lot of uh obviously over there over the last year or two years uh you've seen a lot of companies popping up of how to get influencers how to uh you know integrate with them how to use them to expand your brand and um some of those strategies have been i don't know i've tried a couple of them some of them are very expensive some of them are kind of like you're not sure what kind of results you're going to get what kind of stuff you're going to get from them or how in sync they're going to be with your brand or or your you know what you want to do for your products so um there's been a lot of that kind of stuff over the years and um joe cho is a good friend and he kind of figured out a method of how to do this without having to go some expensive route and do it in a way that's going to be kind of right in line with what you want to do for your brand and how to find those right kind of influencers who to go after what you should say to them how you should go about it he he kind of um he's done it a lot yeah exactly that's kind of he got there from a place of a lot of experience absolutely he did this for his brand where he basically took his products and um he launched all of his products uh using this method and piloted it and worked out the tweaks for his first couple products and had a system in place and and you know shared it with some friends um you know a lot of people have used it to great success so you know he then moved forward with okay creating a software that helps him actually do all this and manage all this a lot faster but the the main point is you know how what what is a smart or workable system for micro influencers and uh that's what we wanted to share with you now and and also i know that we were gonna talk about this with him on on air um but did he like started his business like a year and a half ago and already sold it right yeah for like a pretty penny he yeah so he's on the short list of people that sellers hate and admire at the same time yes so um yeah i think with that i think we can jump right in um we're going to kind of stay here with with that presentation um you know we can answer any questions along the way and we'll also uh maybe midway or at the end answer questions and go over kind of details about it i've i've been in touch with them for for quite a while on this so i do know quite a bit about it so i can answer any questions as we go forward from there yeah and then um i think just for our sanity and for the cohesiveness of this we should probably we're going to play this video through beginning to end uh it's insane content still like yes we would prefer to have him on live but it's still extremely informative he goes over kind of how to do this manually versus how to do it with his software but point being is like it's 20 minutes and you should watch every second of it so we'll if you have questions we'll hold them till the end just because i feel like that otherwise it's going to be very annoying yeah yeah yeah and one just little recap on it is or kind of summary of it is you know you're you're going to be you're going to learn basically a method of how to find the right kind of influencers to integrate with your brand and how to go about doing that integration process what the best kind of uh sequences of actions are and and then of course how to manage it all and how to you know not go crazy trying to you know control all the different factors of it so very very smart system definitely um worth you know worth considering for your brand and you know if you have maybe you know uh if you're doing this solo you know on on your amazon brand and you you uh haven't been trying other methods and they haven't quite worked out for you this could be a very very um you know it's not it's not a free ride it's definitely work you definitely have to do stuff on this um but it's a very uh proven system that that you'll you'll get here so yeah and frankly like if you guys don't kind of already know this managed by stats really we really do focus on the experience sellers so is it a stretch to say this is not a strategy for someone who's new um being brand new to amazon yeah it's probably not the smartest thing to start in on um being business savvy and amazon savvy and starting a new product or a new brand or you know having sold and starting another one this is definitely down your alley it's it's something that you could you know you know all the amazon stuff you can get you know the product up and running get it you know get it going and have this as a method of launching and relaunching and um you know using this launch method for all of your products um that you build out in that new brand yeah like if you've got the bandwidth and you already kind of are tracking with how to do the rest of stuff then yeah this is definitely something you should be playing and then and then for existing sellers if you you know what you're doing you've been selling for you know a year or two or whatever and you've you've you know you know all the basics of amazon you're just looking for the edge up the the the system to get you uh you know uh your next launch to go smoother faster less expensive or whatever it is this is definitely for you as well and also it doesn't have to just be a launching strategy right like also launch is sort of an overused term i would say because our last video hell was relaunching for q4 right meaning like if you it almost seems like a launch today can categorize as any action that you do that is a concerted effort almost like a little bit of like a re-sprinting so remarketing yeah it's like a marketing again for your product that's right come live and come out of the depths of what it was yeah exactly so this is something that for some of you guys even if you're not planning on if even if we're not talking to you and you're launching a product right now you can implement this right now just to kick up sales ahead of black friday q4 or all that stuff yeah absolutely um okay cool well i don't think that we're gonna do any favors here by just chit-chatting the whole time about uh what the expert is literally gonna cover in detail so uh av we ready to rock and roll beautiful okay all i'll say i'm i'm just gonna say ahead of time everyone thanks you danan for your your service mr av over here okay good let's dive right into joe ochoa hey there my name is joe ochoa i'm the founder and creator of hubble which is a social media platform to help you find manage and attract influencers across multiple social media platforms initially here we're going to talk about the reasons why you should consider working with influencers and go over some of the basics and walk you a to the a to z as far as how to find influencers how to engage with them interact with them and you know get them on your team supporting your brand so let's kick it off here there's a number of reasons why you should use influencers and work with influencers one of the top ones for me is product launches this is why i started when i was just selling on amazon i didn't have much ddc i wasn't in brick and mortar and i needed to build a solid solid product launch group and they needed to find um influencers and social customers to help me get my brand launched secondarily it's about extending your reach right everyone talks about getting off of amazon and you know one of the ways to do that outside of doing external ads on google and running dtc and this and that is is showing and extending your presence on social media because that's where people are looking for brands these days and when you're getting ready to sell your company or if you're working with any one of these big brick and mortar companies that wants to see who you are that's one of the first places they go outside of your website so it's really important to build your social media presence thirdly you know reviews reviews are great whether they're in stories they're in posts whether they're on your website whether they're on you know third-party seller websites reviews are super important and when you engage with these influencers and they end up loving you and loving your brand and your products they write reviews like crazy and they're better than normal reviews because they post videos and they post pictures and you know it's super super valuable and that leads us to the fourth bolt which is user generated content i mean ugc is is is uh king to the degree that this is what you use to advertise whether it be instagram facebook google or other sites uh whether that you're using that repurposing it on your website so customers visiting your website can see how much people love your product and these are pros so they're just doing standard videos that um you know mom and pop may do these are these are targeted videos that you know really add value and really um have that um have that presence and authority that people are looking for and then i'll say uh lastly it's just you have a ton of ever being content right so whether it's instagram or facebook or or youtube um this content lives on on the internet uh for you know quite some time and so people get to find your brand after you're working with influencers for six months a year a couple years down the road there's still content that's out there that's you know speaking highly of your brand your products and lastly again you know building your brand off amazon is super important this is one of the ways uh that you can do that it's a great starting point and again i would call these infrastruct these influencers and social customers as influencer beca um infrastructure rather because you can mobilize them to do any number of things and and they'll last you really the life of your brand so let's talk about where i start how i get started you know how i find these influencers what do i look for once i find them how do i engage with them should i pay them shouldn't i pay them um you know what size of influencer do i want to look at uh you know what you know what vertical what set of hashtags there's all these things that you could think of when when trying to figure out where to start right does it happen overnight no it does not this is a wood chips make wood pile strategy but over the course of a few months if you look at it from the perspective of you can find yourself you know a couple hundred or more solid influencers to help you launch products and get you know user generated content and all these great things that we talked about you're in pretty good shape we are going to start by walking you through the process finding influencers tracking them engaging with them and getting them to join you know collaborate with you as an influencer so i've logged into the hubble um home screen here which is the dashboard we're going to walk you through this secondarily but primarily i wanted to kind of give you an idea of why we created hubble this was a product launch that we had done uh this is i'm sorry a google sheet that we'd use initially when we first started working with influencers and we were trying to document them what was their paypal address what was their instagram profile um when did we reach out to them on which date about which product did they write a review uh did uh did they comment in their in their story did they make a post did we do a giveaway i'm beating a dead horse i think you get it but this wasn't this went down 800 uh columns or rows rather and it was really painful and and didn't work so we built a platform to manage all of our influencers this is a test account obviously we have in our primary account for our primary brand over 5000 customers and influencers and here they're broken down by customers and influencers their engagement rate the number of followers their total reach so on and so forth so this is one component the secondary component is our google chrome browser extension so we built most of this today around instagram we have a nice built out for um tick tock that's in the process it's going to be very similar to to what we do with instagram and um we also allow you to track influencers that have profiles on multiple social media platforms from one contact so we can get to that in a little while but as you can see here let's say i'm in the pet products space pet supplies and i'm looking for dog lovers so i've just found uh benji the mini doodle and what's great about the hubble chrome google chrome browser extension is before we had to kind of guess at what this profile's reach was and and we had to just kind of eyeball it and see well this may be someone that that's it's going to be useful to work with we don't have to do that any longer because we can add all their all their likes all their comments and we can divide that by the number of followers and get an engagement rate and ultimately reach so on average every time benji the mini doodle posts uh they get roughly people that interact with that post so this is a good one and um what we can do simply and before again we used to copy and paste their profile over this ugly google sheet now we can just simply hit this button and add them to the database with two clicks it takes all their information and that they have their uh in instagram and as their contact and their instagram profile name so from there uh i can let's walk through how to find influencers and then we'll go back to benji and i'll show you how to enter interact and and reach out to benji to see if he or she would like to collaborate with us as an influencer you can see here we have a get suggestions button so this is the way we find influencers you can do it a number of ways uh you can simply search for you know dog health if you're in the in that space and there's 260 000 and you can go one by one and start clicking on these there's some here's the top posts right these ones not so much so you have nine you can click on them and you can go to roko the pool boy and you can see that roko has a pretty good reach too so this might be a good target you want to make sure that they're in the u.s which they are in texas and you're off to the races you know but it's a it's more of a manual process what we've done here as you can see with um the get suggestions button i've run it here for the gucci world by hitting this button and this is the criteria that we used and you can see you know it took maybe a couple minutes but it's given all these potential suggestions to us so depending on your goal if you already have a fairly well established brand and you're looking for influencers that have a fairly large reach you can increase this to 500 or 150 or a thousand or whatever you want and and once you get suggestions it's going to look for that type of influencer if you're building your brand from the ground up and you really don't have much of a presence you really want to look for micro influencers so that's why i put a reach of 30 which is rather low but those types of influencers are going to be very receptive to receiving free product in exchange for a post and so therefore they're already on you know part of your new product launch infrastructure okay so now if i've used you know i've searched and i've i've whittled down my uh search criteria i can start clicking on these one by one and make sure that this person is in the us primarily which they are and they have a reach of 94 which is great um so again i can now add them to the database here i've done this right best practices as i go back to bailey this is all about bailey the dog but if it were you know health or beauty i would want to click on posts specifically that match my brand and do a minimum of two um you can even you know like one if you like it shows instagram and you want to follow them of course it shows instagram that you were engaging with someone prior to sending them kind of an unsolicited or cold direct message right so then i can hit message directly and from here you can see that we have a nice part of the google chrome browser the browser extension here and we also have a form of a text expander that's built in here so generally what we do what i do is i would look for uh some personal interaction so you can see here i'm gonna i'm gonna click over this um text expander and i've said something personal so maybe i call uh bailey out by his name and mention the type of dog he is and the fact that it's an adorable dog or a beautiful dog or energetic dog or whatever it may be so that they realize that you're not a bot and that you've actually looked at their profile and determined that there's something that you want to collaborate with this and then you you know here's just some generic text right thought i'd reach out to see if you'd be interested in collaborating with us we're looking to promote certain certain products and we like to connect with dog lovers um keto uh keto diet followers whatever that may be generally we provide free product in exchange for you posting stories and profile posts again i wouldn't recommend using this exact verbiage but just as a guideline these are some of the things that you would want to say to an influencer our products provide these benefits let us know if you're interested by the way you know whether we're made in the usa or we're a women-owned company or minority-owned company or veterinary company or or we're on ewg because we're non-toxic beauty whatever that is those are some of the things you want to consider you simply click this and here you go you can you can add your something personal and just hit send so i'm not going to do that because we're doing we're demoing it here's another brand that we have here that's just a demo so i can send that here so i'll do that and now that i've sent possimus puppies a dm i want to go here and i can say um put some notes in there and it says invited influencer to collaborate right now if i had already worked with a customer and and sent them a product i can do i can create interactions for that as well so it's all documented like any good um customer relationship management crn um platform it's garbage in garbage app you have to put in you know the activity that you're having with certain people and so we've made it very easy for you to do this here now uh if if posthumous puppies comes back and says oh my gosh this is great i want to work with a product product a we say fantastic so then we would generally say something along the lines of well fantastic um you know if it's if it's walmart if it's target if it's amazon you would let them know that maybe all of your inventory is in one of these um you know third-party marketplaces and so generally what we do is we paypal you um directly and then have you purchase the product from xyz marketplace right um if it's if it's you're driving direct to consumer website traffic then maybe it's a bit a different strategy where you're trying to you want to bring them on as an affiliate so they get an affiliate link and you send them product via shopify or ship station or whatever that may be and then they're promoting products just for your website so i don't want to script this out too much because there's a whole number of ways to do this but that's a general process that we follow and then um so again if i had sent this person the pig ears i can say um either i sent them product or i sent them money to buy the product whatever it may be i save that and i know that's going to arrive seven days later so i want to create a task to follow up with that person so i created tasks for the pig years i assign it to my favorite jennifer lopez and we say um circle back to see if they like the product ask them if they post ask them to review whatever it may be i say this and now um when that date comes the 20th i put it for the 20th but when that date comes um you'll get a notification here in your um right here your outstanding tasks task assignment for you it's going to come up on that day that you need to follow up with this person oh if you happen to be chatting with them you also get a reminder here so that's kind of the a to z on finding influencers reaching out to them engaging um you know uh take to taking um making uh um taking note of what products you're working with them uh and on and and whether they've posted their profile stories how great of an influencer are they right so from here you can also go directly to the to the profile you can see all the interactions that we've done we happen to just do them so you can sort and say well i just want to look at you know pig ears so if you have you know we have in our primary brand um influencers they've been working with for years they've tried you know dozen or more products so it it's nice to be able to sort to see um you know what you've worked on with specific influencer or or with all your influencers on specific products uh you know dog bones or pig ears or rainbow dog colors or whatever it is you can search by that you can search by how many people you sent product to uh whether they post in their story so on and so forth so there's a number of ways to slice and and dice your interactions and your in your contacts we also have a number of really cool tools like an auto dm tool that we can get into uh and maybe in a later later video but a high level um this is what hubble does this is this is the power um that it provides over uh doing some of these things manually i think the last thing i'll show you to try to keep this tight not go into each nook and cranny is that we do have a social listening platform which is very helpful you know the only way to really review this is is to by clicking your hearts here and trying to find people who are who have started following you or posted about you or commented on a post now if i go here i can see that this person posted about us and happens to be already in our hubble database which is great but imagine if you caught a dozen customers or influencers that happen to be posting about your brand let me click into one of these and um you never so much as liked the post commented on the post reached out to the person and thanked them for sharing your brand and and potentially asking them if they wanted to be on a new product launch list because you launched product at discounts you'd be happy to notify them or if they're influencer size ask them if they like to collaborate because clearly they love your products and in my opinion not reaching out to these customers it can't amount to not responding to an email or a voicemail that a customer left you because these it's even worse these these customers are social influencers or customers are more valued because they're telling everybody so if i click directly into this post and this person cooper the duper coopered cooper duper he only reaches 12 people but that's 12 people more than the customer that bought from you didn't tell anybody and they would help you out with a product launch so um those are the ins and outs uh the stories aren't listed here because this is a test brand generally you would have stories here as well so i hope that helps uh i highly recommend that you adopt this strategy and and get working on it because it will pay have something in my teeth no no no popcorn okay good um hit us with questions um if you guys have stuff um does the software work for influencers outreach in canada do you know here's one thing guys if it might be possible that some of your questions we won't know the answer to because joe isn't presently in this room or on the phone or anything but if we can find the answer we will really quickly for you yeah no it should because it's uh it's not syncing up necessarily through seller central or anything like that so it's just through instagram so yes uh wherever that person is obviously if you uh you know if you're based out of canada and you are trying to find local you know canada influencers so you can send them product yes absolutely you can just you tie that in you you zero or narrow your searches down to just the people that are in canada and boom you got those people and you can integrate them into the system track them um you know all that stuff exactly um good and then um i've always known joe to be kind of funny and i don't know if he did it intentionally but um benji the mini doodle that's one of them um i just want to work with pig ears so uh that's not something you hear every day yep i thought it was pretty unique um and then the last uh the last user he mentioned there was cooper duper so there's that yeah cooper duber um other than that no i think i think that a lot of what happens here is there's uh there are conclusions that people jump to with micro influencers many influencers whatever and they're thinking oh you know no matter what i'm paying these guys obviously but you were telling how you guys use this with one of your brands right absolutely it's it's a a an sop or a a sequence of doing things that um you don't have to you know when you when you use these other sites they're like yo yeah you know connect with influencers you're going to be finding people that are going to be saying okay 300 500 a post for them to post about your product um not not with this with this way you're finding these micro influencers who are going to just be interested in uh creating content for their own brand for their own influencing that they're doing and so they're not going to be you know asking for money for the stuff it's just like you mentioned a free product you know hey we'd like to collab with you we'll send you a free product if you can do a post about it the guy would be like great he loves the product it makes sense goes along with his brand and some of these guys don't have a brand well meaning like they're no but i mean like that's also part of it like we've we're talking about people who have a hundred followers there's no brand there that's like joe and his high school friends right yeah and you obviously want to get people that have following or have you know some kind of engagement right you want to start with the smaller guys and and those guys will be be gladly doing content for you and now there's there's so many um unseen benefits to this method because um let's say you reach out to a guy you say hey would you know can you collab can you can we send you our product and you do a post on it he says yeah great okay you send it to him he does a post on it um he might then go oh you know i can leave a review on amazon you might want to leave a review on amazon yeah okay it's not going to be a verified review but it'll be a review yeah um the content that he creates he's going to post it on his instagram so now all of his followers are going to be looking at that right they're going to see it you can then take that and post it on your own instagram so now you have you know two times the amount of exposure that that's happening on and we're literally talking about a screenshot guys we're not talking about like hey some integration where it pulls the no it's like as low budget as you can like that is that's part of the thing with some of these like reviews of someone on social media it's it's very good social proof yeah so that's kind of why that's so important absolutely and so you have now that being posted on your own instagram but then you have other aspects where like okay now you can take that photo and put it in your enhanced brand content you know you're talking about your product maybe some some cool way to make a smoothie or you know some some i don't know whatever widget a cool way to use that widget or or a lifestyle image now you have a lifestyle image of that product you can put into your photo stack um so there's there's all these unseen ways your website if you have your own website and you're selling on shopify or whatever take that photo and put it somewhere on your website so you have all this from one little interaction now you have about five or six different things that are going to be benefiting your brand benefiting the exposure that you get yeah exactly okay so a couple questions here also um what does it cost hundred bucks a month right yeah it's 100 bucks a month um yeah it's like 97.

It's right in that range um and then we have a question have you had any luck with just offering a discount on a product or does it always have to be an offering of a free product uh or you just see more success with offering free i'm sure that it depends also on your product yeah i guess it depends on your product if you have a really large expensive item that you're trying to get reviewed or trying to get you know out there okay yeah maybe i don't know i haven't really dealt with those kind of things i think more the success is really with you want that you want to make it as easy as possible for that influencer to go yeah sure and the best way of course to do that is hey can i send you this product for free you know if you think about it um it actually can be less expensive to do that than some other methods doing a rebate launch where you're spending you know ten dollars or six dollars to pay for the service for each sale that you do right you know there's that plus you now are giving that product away for free because you're doing a rebate and whatever whatever right so you kind of think with that right this way you're you're not doing any kind of a you know uh it could be less expensive yeah yeah totally um and then there's also yeah you know and it's also sort of like sending someone a you know especially on like instagram where it's not like they know you and saying hey we're gonna give you a discount obviously is a little bit weird versus free because you seem like you're the right type of person that's i feel like that would go over better but that's just me from like a thinking of the psychological side of it more than right success exactly because a lot of these influencers even if they're up and coming um you know they're they're just someone who's you know talking about dogs and they love dogs and they just happen to have a lot of people follow them because they do great posts they're not necessarily trying to be an influencer or whatever but they do have a lot of following so they might get a lot of people contacting them saying hey you know here's some free dog food or here's a doggie treat or you know the the thing to help with their hair or whatever it is um and so it's you're kind of cold calling these guys right hey you know we love your content you know we have a great product we'd be interested you know in in collabing with you in some way and the easiest way is hey can we send you the free product if you like it do a post about it um so it is you know and and taking going back to what joe was saying this is a uh wood chips builds the wood pile yeah strategy you are you know building this up so there's no overnight success on this right yeah right and you might lock into something where some influencer who has millions of followers is like yeah i'll do it and and post about it but that's one in a million right so it really is a matter of okay find these people reach out to them and get them into you know doing stuff for you know with your brand doing that content using that content and and kind of building that relationship with them but one in a million you've experienced that yeah that's true so it's like that's true or at least one in three you know in this room whatever but the point is like you'll never have that happen if you don't get out there and that's right and poke the bear you know what i mean like so in their case we won't dive into any major specifics at all but it was a i think it was a doctor right who it made sense based on what their product is but said hey i love this x product and he had an audience and that audience then go buy it exactly just started buying yeah so but yeah i think this it really is building that brand exposure building building that whole your whole brand out um and as you do that the the beauty of it like joe was saying is you know now when you're you're doing your next product your next variation your next version or whatever you can launch to all the influencers who've done stuff with you and have kind of stayed you know in touch with you or doing little things with you over the you know many months now you say hey i have another product do you want to do it they're like yeah great this goes along with with the previous thing that i did and you know you have 200 people now that are doing something with your product whether it's you know buying it or or you know you're giving to them for free or whatever they're posting about it you have just so much uh launch effort that you can actually put into that that will help with those launches in the future yeah and um jeff is asking here if it can be done on youtube i don't think so i don't know well so i guess if you're looking if you're talking about youtube influencers right exactly um yeah i mean it's this system is plugged into this is yeah okay yeah so in terms of this software it's instagram right but you can a system yeah you can add them if they're a youtube person they might have an uh an instagram account as well uh you can add them in here without them having an instagram account you can create like a you know just a contact for them and and put notes of okay yeah this is what they did this is their link to their youtube blah blah it the system as joe mentioned it's going to be a multi-social media platform management system so he's adding in tick tock i think next and um i'm sure he'd be adding in youtube but there are features in there right now where you can put plug in their you know their their youtube link or their whatever else you know uh link to to go to them and then track what they do with you and whatnot so do you also know if they do the affiliate marketing side so meaning their own customized link i don't think so right i think it's just yeah so meaning it's either free or we're talking a one-off payment for a post or that kind of thing right right okay um and then do we know if there's a fair trial fair uh fair trial free free trial gosh i i've had it for so long i don't remember if there is uh i think he might have a two week trial i believe good good we think we think there might be a free two-week trial um and then um doing we probably don't know on tick tock unfortunately we're not on the development team for this um or we'd probably have better answers for you guys so we apologize but um we will um we will definitely get answers on this stuff from joe and we'll post it in here um otherwise yeah i like definitely keep hitting us because the questions are coming non-stop because yeah like this person here was asking when when will tick-tock be added and confirm on youtube and then the affiliate marketing okay occasionally there are influencers who won't review a product try it out without a free uh free product a fee fifi can hubble help you with uh determining a fee that isn't ridiculous as well as any guidelines to determine that that is a good question good question and i and i do think that um you can definitely get uh that question answered easily info hubble dot me if you email them there he'll answer you i think that's joe or one of his uh his guys that will do that um so yeah they'll definitely give you a good idea of what is what makes sense because since they've been doing it they've kind of been in that arena for the last couple years um so yeah hit them up info at hubble.me oh my goodness i i talked about something else for 30 seconds related i'm trying to find something to answer a question hold on um my experience with influencers who've asked for money i will gauge it on i guess first off the product i'll then look at that influence for themselves what is their engagement rate how many how many comments do they get in their posts how many views do they get in their post and if it makes sense to me like okay this guy obviously gets a lot of traffic and people are commenting and talking about it you can even go into his comments and look at you know people who are like oh yeah i got one of those too or oh my gosh i just got this i just purchased it or uh people tagging other people okay then you know that there's there's a a following that's that's active for that person um and okay it might be worthwhile to pay that person blah amount of money um would i pay 500 dollars for a post it really depends on who the person is yeah you have to gauge it by you know what what who they are how they relate to your brand um if it's a perfect fit for your brand and they have a good good engagement and it makes sense to you money wise okay cool maybe do it um but i wouldn't say i would say don't do that stuff until you've built up you know a very big base of people that are just doing it for exchange exchange for a product at that yeah you're leaving the realm of michael influence exactly exactly and those people are going to have you know 1.2 you know 4 million followers or whatever it is and that's that's why they have that much engagement um and that's why they can basically tell people well if you want me to post about it i'll cost 500 but you don't want to start there you know yeah you can you can if you have you know a billion dollar budget and you can just roll with it okay fine start there but if that's not where you're at okay start with the micro influencers find these people that are going to be that are going to be happy to do like on one of my brands we've sent this girl i think probably three products three different products and she's posted for us probably like 12 to 17 times like just because she loves the product and she loves what it is it goes with her whole brand lifestyle of what she's doing on her instagram she's posted multiple times we're like whoa she just posted again for us we do we haven't been in touch with her for a month and a half and she just she used that product again or she had it in the background or you know she said something cool about it like or she used it in some new recipe and you're like wow that's really cool and so it makes sense for her to do that because it goes along with what she's doing in her own instagram her own efforts to be an influencer right so kind of gauge those two points of like okay does it make sense to go after some big fish you know in this process you're going to get a lot of people who are going to reach out to you be like hey i saw that you you know that you've reached out to you know people or that you're an up-and-coming brand and we'd like to you know i'd like to be an influencer for you and my rates are blonde here's my rate card we've had a ton of those that's going to happen because you're getting your brand out there you're getting yourself known other influencers are going to be posting about you and so the bigger guy is going to be like people who are trying to get money as an influencer will be reaching out to you so yeah engage those how you want if it makes sense if it's a great fit and you're like this could be a great opportunity okay try one out see how it goes um but don't make that your main concentration start with the micro guys work with them uh build up that that list so that okay now you're you've been doing that for you know three to six to nine months or whatever you're ready for your next product launch okay you reach out to all the guys who've been in contact with you and now you have a much easier launch of that next product yeah um couple questions that have been asked in there one was about a calculator that i that we tried seeing if that's in there i don't know if it's in his software i know that i just put a url in the description influencer marketing hub i know they have an influencer calculator in there i did this course don't ask me to say the guy's name because it's just not going to happen it's very foreign but he has a course on udemy that goes over influencer marketing it was a good course that and then we have someone asking um virtual assistants that use hubble is there do we know of a couple virtual assistants that are i guess i guess for hire that are familiar with this stuff so they don't have to kind of like i guess be retrained or something like that i think we're getting a little into the weeds on that particular question well i i uh i don't want to answer for joe necessarily right don't think there's a pool of people or or there's you know a ton of va type people um what i can say is that he has training videos uh for the software and um so yeah you would need to get someone trained up and and have them learn the system and be doing that um you know one one point of i guess a point that i learned is if you're going to get a va make sure that va is either in the u.s or you know is able to do what she's doing through some kind of thing where it looks like she's in the u.s because instagram will see that they're coming in from a different ip address in some other country and that uh i did that and that was not good and my instagram account we had some experience we had some issues we had to handle that um so so if you are getting someone um you know see if you can work it out so it's they don't have to be in the us but work out a way that they can actually interact if they're going to be doing this stuff through a u.s portal of some sort that's my own experience that's and i don't know if that's going to be you know guidance or directions from from hubble.me or from joe but uh that was just my own personal experience i worked out ways that i could do that the right way awesome okay good um we're gonna jump into jumping off here so if you guys have any questions hit em up hit us up in the next like 15-20 seconds okay otherwise um yeah obviously we're we're this is an important strategy anytime but it is something that's important going into holidays going into thanksgiving christmas that whole shebang with how crazy everything is going to be in the next couple months um this is the time to do it you don't want to do this like start this kind of strategy day of thanksgiving day of black friday of christmas you want to get this going now right so um if you're going to dive into this do it now uh don't know about u.s virtual assistant a little bit more into that what the va's making it look like yeah a vpn yeah just get a vpn that's right um that way it basically masks your ip and shows it as being in the u.s so that is the strategy for doing that um if you look up vpns there's many of them yeah vpns and remote desktops remote desktops and yeah you want to make sure that they're interacting with the chrome oh when they're doing chrome and stuff um your camera's dead you're a black box oh sorry bye um but yeah you want to make sure that they're they're coming in through that system so exactly um so that's kind of that one we won't dive into because that's not really like that's that is a mapped strategy already go check out a vpn or a desktop something like that um so
